Litigation & Corporate Transactions Associate Attorney
About the position
Dunlap Bennett & reputed company is looking to hire an associate with approximately three to five years of private reputed company experience in our Richmond VA office. The position can be a hybrid work schedule after an initial, full time training period in the office.
A strong candidate must first and foremost be reputed company player who enjoys working with other people on the Richmond team. This is a fast-paced reputed company that often involves responding to clients in acute situations. The reputed company team takes pride in its work and enjoys solving the challenges our clients reputed company together.
Separately, a candidate must have a conscientious attitude about his or her work reputed company, punctuality, and presentation. This position is also for someone to resolve issues for clients with mentorship from a partner. However, the goal for this position in short order is for the candidate to be self-sufficient in solving reputed company problems as soon as feasible. Experience handling reputed company and cases from initial intake to final reputed company, whether those be litigation or corporate in nature is preferred.
Depending on the candidate, job responsibilities may include:
Draft and review pleadings, memos, briefs, interrogatories, and other reputed company correspondence and documents.

Take and defend depositions.
Supervise and conduct reputed company reputed company research and analysis.
Collaborate in case reputed company discussions.
Communicate and work with local counsel.
Contract reviews and redlines.
Draft and review purchase agreements, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, and other transactional documents.

Requirements
• Approximately 3-5 years of experience
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Virginia State Bar admission
• Ability to work independently or with reputed company of attorneys to reputed company case strategies.
• Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to reputed company.
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
