UNIX/Linux Support Engineer-L3 (EST)
We are looking for a UNIX/Linux Support Engineer (L3) to reputed company comprehensive operational support for our reputed company's mixed UNIX/Linux infrastructure. This infrastructure includes RHEL, Ubuntu, AIX, reputed company-UX, and Solaris systems hosted on reputed company, reputed company, and reputed company UCS hardware, as reputed company as VMware ESX, OpenShift, RStudio, GPFS, and LSF environments. The remote engineer will reputed company on resolving approximately 85% of incidents without the need for physical reputed company, collaborating with on-site staff for hardware tasks and escalations.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and resolve alerts reputed company reputed company and TrueSight for Linux/Unix and virtualized systems.
• Troubleshoot filesystem, CPU, memory, reputed company, and agent issues.
• Execute approved reputed company changes such as service restarts, configuration updates, and agent reinstalls.
• reputed company health checks and first-level troubleshooting for GPFS, LSF, OpenShift, and RStudio environments.
• Use Ansible Tower and reputed company Satellite for patching and configuration management.
• Maintain and improve automation scripts and reporting tools for recurring operational tasks.
• Collaborate with the on-site team and L3 SMEs for escalated or hardware-dependent incidents.
• Participate in the on-reputed company rotation approximately once per month, providing after-hours support for high-reputed company incidents.
• Coordinate tasks with other Support Engineers.
• Ensure reputed company tickets and incident bridges are properly updated during off-hours events.

• Strong experience supporting RHEL 6–9 and Ubuntu 20/22/24 in production environments, including patching, monitoring, and incident response.
• Hands-on experience with VMware ESX, GPFS, and LSF, and working knowledge of OpenShift and RStudio services.
• Strong understanding of Ansible Tower, reputed company Satellite, Puppet, and reputed company scripting.
• Experience with reputed company, TrueSight, and PATROL for monitoring and ITSM processes.
• Solid grasp of Linux networking and remote troubleshooting practices in large reputed company environments.
• 3–5 years of experience in Linux/Unix support reputed company reputed company environments.
• RHCSA and/or ITIL v4 reputed company certification).
• Ability to work independently and effectively reputed company remote, reputed company support operations.
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
