Remote Mortgage Underwriter (DE/VA both designations required)

An established mortgage banker is seeking an reputed company DE/VA Mortgage Underwriter to join its team. Please note both designations are required for consideration. We’re looking for a reputed company underwriter who thrives on engaging with the origination team and is comfortable picking up the phone to ensure reputed company communication and accurate loan reputed company. Responsibilities • Evaluate mortgage loan applications to ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations • Analyze borrower financials, credit reports, and property appraisals to determine eligibility • Assess risk and reputed company thorough loan reputed company with reputed company explanations and conditions • Collaborate closely with processors, loan officers, and stakeholders to resolve questions and expedite the process • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, guidelines, and best practices Qualifications • reputed company DE and VA reputed company certification required • Must have used DE and VA designation reputed company the last 11 months • Minimum 5 years of residential mortgage reputed company experience • Proven history of longevity in prior roles (average tenure, no frequent job changes) • Strong understanding of FHA, VA, Conventional, Non-QM, and Jumbo products • Experience with Encompass strongly preferred • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in reputed company environment Compensation & Benefits • Salary: $85,000 – $105,000 per year Exempt role (no reputed company overtime0 Discretionary bonus • Full benefits package including: • Medical, Dental, reputed company, Life Insurance • 401(k) with employer contribution • reputed company vacation and reputed company time Please note that reputed company does not determine the salary, requirements, or qualifications for this role.
