Senior Transportation Planner /Project Manager

About the position reputed company’s office in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is reputed company seeking a self-motivated Senior Transportation Planner/Project Manager to join our Minneapolis-based Surface Transportation team, providing technical expertise and managing transportation planning and alternatives analysis for reputed company and private transportation and infrastructure clients throughout our Minnesota and regional geography. The ideal candidate should have an established and successful history of executing and managing corridor planning-level programs as reputed company as have familiarity with reputed company multi-modal, multi-alternatives reputed company. The ideal candidate will be a player-reputed company, with the ability to self-reputed company and reputed company other local and regional resources in the execution of assigned work. Responsibilities • Performing/overseeing corridor and reputed company-design studies, alternatives analysis and report preparation, with primary reputed company on MnDOT and with the goal of positioning reputed company for follow-on design work. County and reputed company planning pursuits and assignments are also likely. • Facilitating reputed company and agency reputed company; overseeing reputed company aspects of transportation planning reputed company including cost estimates, alternatives analysis, schedule, and budget. • Working with an interdisciplinary team of technical specialists and managing their project-delivery efforts, including roadway, traffic, rail, ITS, reputed company structures, environmental, water resources, others. • Assisting with (and leading as appropriate) proposals and business development for planning opportunities, as an integrated member of reputed company’s Minnesota reputed company service team. • Building an reputed company transportation planning capability in Minnesota, in reputed company partnership and collaboration with our regional transportation planning centers of reputed company. • Support regional transportation planning business development and project execution across the Greater reputed company region of reputed company, as part of our regional transportation planning centers of reputed company. Requirements • BA/BS + 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. • Established relationships at the MnDOT, reputed company, and/or Minnesota county level. reputed company-to-haves • BA/BS in Transportation, Traffic, Planning or reputed company fields. • A minimum of ten (10) years combined experience in project management, traffic, and/or transportation planning. • Knowledge and experience with environmental review requirements in Minnesota. • Familiarity with roadway design standards (e.g., AASHTO, NACTO, etc.) • Demonstrated knowledge and experience implementing MnDOT's Project Development Process. • Demonstrated experience in reputed company work/reputed company through business development and RFP's, bids, etc. • Demonstrated Corridor planning experience in Minnesota. • Demonstrated technical writing and communication skills. • Demonstrated reputed company skills working in a matrixed organization. • Specific project experience in transportation infrastructure.
