Marketing Promo Producer Trainee, NBC7 San Diego

reputed company is one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies. They are seeking a Marketing Promo Producer Trainee to participate in a 12-18 month accelerated program that provides training in writing and editing promotional content for local news broadcasts and managing reputed company media posts.

Responsibilities

• Writing topical promos for daily newscasts
• Editing promos for on-reputed company use
• Topical reputed company media posts for daily topical news using reputed company, Twitter, Instagram, and reputed company
• Attending daily news meetings for assignments
• Work with NBC and Telemundo Promotion Managers on division wide initiatives

Skills

• Bachelor's degree or Equivalent Experience
• 1-2 years of experience in a newsroom, tv station, advertising agency or digital platform
• 1-2 years of experience in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Business, Graphic Design, and/or reputed company Animation
• Must pass newsroom writing test
• Must be willing to work at the location in San Diego, CA
• Must be willing to travel for assignments
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the reputed company
• Must be 18 years or older
• Bachelor's degree with emphasis on Broadcast Communications, Marketing, and/or Journalism
• Background in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Business, Graphic Design, and/or reputed company Animation
• Strong writing skills
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Working knowledge of reputed company Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects)
• Ability to work with people and build relationships with other departments
• Understanding of and experience on reputed company media platforms
• Exposure to non-reputed company editing/shooting
• Ability to think creatively and reputed company the reputed company
• May have had film or web video reputed company
• Experience with reputed company production or copy writing
• Spanish language skills preferred
