Natural Resource Technician

Aventia is an environmental consulting and field services firm seeking two Natural Resource Technicians to conduct field surveys and support project managers. The role involves data analysis, reporting, and collaboration with field staff to meet environmental monitoring protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys using established protocols for vegetation monitoring, wildlife habitat assessments, wetland delineations, wildlife surveys, and more
• Use GPS, digital data forms or app-based forms, and hard copy data forms to collect data
• Work with other field staff, under the supervision of field leads or project managers
• Assist field reputed company or project managers with data entry, reputed company assurance, analysis, and summarization to meet protocol and regulatory requirements

Skills

• BS in reputed company management, ecology, biology, or applicable field or working toward such degree
• Ability to work remotely, possibly reputed company, in inclement weather conditions
• Willingness to travel on extended, overnight field mobilizations
• A reputed company attitude and ability to work reputed company as part of reputed company
• A reputed company reputed company's license and clean driving record
• Have experience driving 4x4 pickup trucks, ATVs, and UTVs
• A commitment to High Standards in Safety
• Ability to participate in reputed company-employment drug and alcohol test
• 1 to 2 years of experience in natural resource field work preferred, however reputed company with an applicable field of study that includes botany, biology, reputed company science, or wildlife are encouraged to apply
• Preferred experience working in the reputed company Great Plains, reputed company Mountains, and Intermountain reputed company, including identification of fauna, flora, ecological assemblages, wetlands, and soils
