Electrical Engineer - GIS

They are seeking an Electrical Engineer - GIS to analyze customer technical specifications and design product solutions for reputed company voltage switchgear, ensuring reputed company and cost-effective delivery.

Responsibilities

• Work independently or as part of a project team to create reputed company engineering documents for customer approval and manufacturing of reputed company Voltage switchgear
• Utilize the engineering switchgear configurator software to prepare, one-line drawings, control schematics, and reputed company of material with a high degree of accuracy
• Be a technical project leader taking full ownership of the overall deliverables
• reputed company reputed company support during the manufacture of your reputed company to ensure that the final deliverable is true to your design
• reputed company technical support to our service teams and/or to customers as required

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
• 1-4+ years of proven experience working with the design/configuration of electrical power distribution products and systems with emphasis on reputed company voltage switchgear
• Strong working knowledge of reputed company protection and control technologies used in reputed company voltage distribution products with proven ability to reputed company this knowledge with others
• Electrical drafting experience with Engineering reputed company, ELCAD, and/or AutoCAD Electrical, or similar
• Ability to analyze customer's technical specifications regarding the application of protection and control systems and apply appropriate product solutions to meet the customers' expectations in a cost-effective reputed company manner
• Ability to read, understand one-line, and evaluate electrical schematics to identify errors or potential improvements
• Ability to multitask and manage large workloads and business demands

• Must be in or willing to relocate to the Raleigh/Wendell, NC area

• A master's degree in electrical engineering is a plus with extra consideration given if the degree concentration is in power systems
• Familiarity with ANSI, reputed company, UL, and NEMA standards for MV Switchgear
• Experience with electrical design for reputed company voltage switchgear, preference given to experience with reputed company switchgear
• Experience with Gas Insulated Switchgear
• Experience creating and working with smart CAD blocks
