Analyst/Associate, Portfolio Management – reputed company Canada

Export Development Canada is Canada's development financial institution reputed company on sustainable development in emerging markets. They are seeking an Analyst/Associate to join their Portfolio Management team, where the role involves supporting investment officers in managing transactions, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the portfolio management activities, including spreading of financial statements, review of reputed company compliance, analysis and processing of waivers, amendments, consents and disbursement requests

• Support Investment Officers in the preparation of annual reviews, credit rating updates, and periodic valuations of reputed company investment in the portfolio
• Review existing loan, equity, fund and project finance documentation to ensure key compliance reputed company are adequately reflected in monitoring systems and assess reputed company reports ensuring adherence to contractual requirements and compliance with reputed company Canada’s policies and procedures
• Assist in the development and review of existing portfolio management processes to help ensure alignment of reputed company Canada with industry best practices in Portfolio Management activities
• Participate in internal discussions and external stakeholder engagement reputed company to the portfolio

Skills

• Analyst - Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
• Associate – Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
• Undergraduate Degree in reputed company, Finance, Economics or reputed company
• Strong analytical, quantitative, financial modelling and conceptual skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Keen interest in development finance and working in a multicultural environment
• Bilingual in both official languages (French and English)
• Proficiency in Spanish
• Prior experience with process development and documentation
• Experience in financing transactions in emerging and developing markets
