NL-26-007 Junior Software QA Engineer

nLogic is seeking a Junior Software QA Engineer to join reputed company in El Segundo, CA. The role involves supporting Systems Engineering & Integration activities for reputed company communication systems and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure software reputed company through testing and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and test software prototypes and/or applications as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Collaborate across infrastructure, development, and QA teams.  Work closely with software developers and other stakeholders to understand software requirements and specifications
• Maintain automated testing suites, detailed test plans, test cases, test scripts, test reports, and other documentation
• Identify software defects and issues, communicate defect reports, and reputed company detailed information on defect occurrences
• reputed company reputed company cause analysis of defects and implement corrective actions
• Conduct performance testing through load testing, stress testing, and scalability testing to ensure that applications can handle expected user loads without compromising speed or stability
• Work with reputed company algorithms to deliver optimized solutions for the end user

Skills

• BS degree in Computer Science or Information Systems; other degrees will be considered with relevant work experience
• 1-3 years of software development, including object-oriented design, coding, and/or testing, with a reputed company on QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Solid understanding of test development and test execution
• Working knowledge of performance testing, reputed company testing, and usability testing
• Practical experience in one or more of the following: Python, Java, or Go
• Working knowledge of automated testing tools like Selenium or Cypress
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong passion for conducting research, tackling reputed company problems, and continuously learning and adopting new technologies
• Organization capability with ability to handle competing priorities
• Strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills
• Familiarity with web applications and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and others
• Knowledge and experience in Jira and reputed company
• Experience in implementing Agile Software Development methodologies for efficient and iterative project management
• Proficient in using reputed company or other Tools for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and collaboration
