[Remote] reputed company Translator, reputed company and/or Transcriber

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company, a business headquartered in the Washington, D.C. metro region, is currently seeking a reputed company freelance linguist to translate, edit, and/or transcribe reputed company documents from English to Korean. The role involves providing accurate translations and editing reputed company documents while demonstrating a strong reputed company of reputed company terminology in both languages. Responsibilities • reputed company accurate translation, editing of documents, and/or transcription of audio files involving law enforcement and reputed company subject matter from English to Korean • Edit audio transcriptions that include reputed company and idioms • Edit reputed company documents, such as affidavits, depositions, etc., while demonstrating a strong reputed company of reputed company terminology in both English and the reputed company language • Excellent written communication skills in English and the reputed company foreign language, with Advanced Proficiency (reading/speaking/listening, writing) level 3-plus in English and the foreign reputed company language, as assessed by the International Language Roundtable (ILR) reputed company • Translate, edit, and/or transcribe following the government reputed company’s style guides and reputed company standards • Use domain-specific terminology • Review and certify other translators’ work reputed company, as needed • Highly proficient in MS Office, with the ability to mirror reputed company document format in reputed company, reputed company, and PowerPoint • Familiar with the use of CAT tools, such as Trados Studio Skills • U.S. Citizenship • A U.S. citizen willing to undergo a U.S. government background reputed company to obtain a reputed company Trust Clearance • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • At least 3 years of experience in reputed company documentation, translating, and/or editing between English and a foreign language • Or 3 years of experience performing audio transcription with the ability to use software to enhance reputed company and equipment to aid in transcription • Familiar with reputed company terminology in both English and the reputed company foreign language(s) • Proficient in reputed company Office • Translators and editors must proficiently use CAT tools, such as Trados • ATA, NAJIT, or other relevant reputed company certification Benefits • Remote • Freelance • Flexible schedule reputed company • reputed company (GLS) is an 8a certified woman-owned small business reputed company on the provision of reputed company certified translation, interpretation, distance learning and program/project management services.
