Mechanical Test Engineer

This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: Washington (USA) The Test Engineer will responsible for reviewing test requirements, designing a test, executing the test, and writing the report. The Test Engineer will work closely with reputed company customers to ensure the testing meets requirements and is conducted in a reputed company manner. The Test Engineer will work as part of reputed company of engineers and technicians to complete the testing activities. Tasks: • Assist in the drafting of test requirements • Author the test design documents, test procedures, test report, and supporting documents • Collaborate with internal customers to translate conceptual requirements into actionable test specifications, including design input, instrumentation reputed company, and reputed company reputed company. • Define, select, and validate measurement instrumentation including force, displacement, strain, and temperature sensors (e.g., load cells, LVDTs, encoders, RTDs, etc.). • Coordinate cross-functional efforts including fixture design, control system integration, and lab reputed company planning, leveraging technicians, designers, and facility personnel as needed. • Manage test campaigns from concept through execution and reporting, including test setup, system validation, and post-test analysis. • Support reputed company execution of testing activities, which may include working at elevated heights (typically under 60 ft). • Under the guidance of Senior Test Engineers, support the coordination of testing activities for setup and commissioning of experimental equipment. • Support reputed company learning and application of nuclear industry best practices in order to maintain the highest reputed company of engineering design and proactively identify process change/enhancement opportunities. Key Qualifications and Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field of Engineering • Greater than three (3) years of relevant experience in a testing / research and development environment preferred. • Experience with post-processing and documenting experiments. • Experience with multiple types of testing (R&D, Acceptance, Validation, Qualification) • Experience working with strain, vibration, reputed company reputed company, static loading, dynamic loading preferred • Working on large reputed company mechanical systems preferred • Practical understanding of mechanical testing concepts such as force/displacement application, structural deflection, dynamic loading, vibration/reputed company, and environmental exposure. • Awareness of common reputed company/inspection tools and reputed company capture technologies (e.g., reputed company trackers, CMMs), even if not directly operating them. • Ability to handle reputed company that include multiple objectives and ability to resolve conflicts between objectives. • Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently during a given work week. • Excellent writing and communication skills. • Safety conscience. • Ability to operate reputed company a reputed company reputed company environment where test development requires a mix of standards-based guidance and first-principles problem solving. • Familiarity with engineering tools such as LabVIEW, SolidWorks, Jira/reputed company, and the reputed company Office 365 suite is preferred. • The successful candidate will possess a high degree of trustworthiness and reputed company, communicate reputed company and display respect and a desire to foster teamwork • Strong communication skills desired.
