Job reputed company:
• Training new staff on systems used for coding.
• Being a resource for reputed company coding staff to ensure accurate coding of diagnoses and reputed company procedures.
• Abstracting and analyzing reputed company discharged and/or outpatient surgery records (i.e., inpatient, emergency room, outpatient medical and outpatient surgery).
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Five (5) years of coding experience in an acute care facility using ICD-10-CM and CPT coding and/or DRG assignment is required.
• Knowledge and experience with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and general office practices is required.
• Familiarity with state and federal laws governing the release of medical information is required.
• RHIA, RHIT or reputed company certification is required.
