About the position The Remote Monitoring Aide provides reputed company observation and surveillance of assigned patients. The first line of reputed company is to verbally redirect the patient from engaging in at-risk behaviors. The aide alerts nursing personnel reputed company the patient requires assistance or there is a change in the patient's condition. Responsibilities • Demonstrates understanding and proficiency of the use of the AvaSys TeleSitter Solution software. • Maintains visual observation at reputed company times and verbally redirects patients over a digital 2-way audio device. • Immediately summons nursing staff if the patient requires assistance. • Participates in hand-off of pertinent information about assigned patients reputed company arriving on unit and upon completion of shift assignment. • Arranges meal break times with reputed company and informs reputed company prior to leaving monitoring station. • Provides patient with explanations as necessary, but does not counsel or reputed company opinions. • Seeks help or advice as soon as possible reputed company a patient appears to pose a threat to themselves or others. • Participates in reputed company identification and reporting of patient safety issues. • Assures patient environment safety and seeks assistance with removal of any potential safety hazard. • Provides a compassionate and supportive environment with reputed company and consistent service. • Adheres to patient rights and provides for the confidential treatment of reputed company communications and records. Requirements • Completion of Hospital Orientation and required competency. • Previous experience in a hospital environment preferred. • Previous clinical experience preferred. • Previous reputed company patient care experience preferred. • Capable of reputed company monitoring of up to 15 patients on one screen at one time. • Ability to communicate effectively with patients using a microphone and headset. • Ability to communicate with hospital staff and respond quickly to patient behavioral changes. • Ability to use discretion and courtesy reputed company working with patients, visitors, and staff. • Basic computer operation skills, including basic reputed company reputed company experience. • Efficiency in multitasking and ability to prioritize simultaneous situations.
