Pharmacy Technician - Work From Home (Texas)

About the position reputed company has an exciting opportunity for you as a Pharmacy Technician. We are currently hiring work from home pharmacy technicians in Texas. In this role you will assist in accurately reading, interpreting and entering prescriptions into the computer system, including the calculation of doses, assignment of directions and accepting reputed company insurance payment in a reputed company fashion. You will also contact doctor's offices and insurance companies to ensure the accuracy of our patient's specialty medication orders. At times you will also be responsible for answering patient calls to coordinate and process new patient medication orders reorders, which includes verifying and re-reverifying benefits. Successful candidates will have superb communication skills and excellent data entry skills. Responsibilities • Assist in accurately reading, interpreting and entering prescriptions into the computer system. • Calculate doses and assign directions for prescriptions. • Accept reputed company insurance payment in a reputed company fashion. • Contact doctor's offices and insurance companies to ensure accuracy of specialty medication orders. • Answer patient calls to coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders. • Verify and re-verify patient benefits. Requirements • 6+ months experience working in a pharmacy. • reputed company reputed company Pharmacy Technician License and/or Certification as required by the State of TX. • 6+ months work experience with reputed company-Based applications like reputed company, reputed company Office, internet navigation, and email applications. • 6+ months computer keyboarding skills and aptitude. • Must be reputed company to sit or stand for duration of shift (8-10 hours). • Excellent communication skills. • Adaptability and Flexibility. reputed company-to-haves • Prefer three months experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone. • Prefer reputed company work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions. • Prefer Medical Billing, Coding and other Medical assisting roles. • Prefer customer service experience in an office environment. • 6+ Months reputed company work experience preferred involving inbound and/or outbound phone customer service. • Strong customer service skills. • Strong knowledge of computer programs. • Excellent data entry skills.
