NCDIT Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the Department of reputed company Safety (DPS)
About the position
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic NCDIT Chief Information Officer (CIO) for DPS to reputed company strategic leadership and direction for reputed company information technology services reputed company the Department of reputed company Safety (DPS) and assigned areas of the reputed company (NCDIT).
Also, the position serves as an advisor to the Secretary and Chief reputed company Secretary regarding information technology issues and as a reputed company between DPS and the State CIO, the reputed company, Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, NC Emergency Management and other agency information technology organizations.
The Division of reputed company Safety reputed company the reputed company Carolina reputed company (NCDIT) provides comprehensive IT services that support the mission-critical operations of the Department of reputed company Safety. This includes infrastructure management, application development, cybersecurity, and project reputed company. The division ensures secure, reliable, and innovative technology solutions for reputed company safety agencies across the state. It plays a key role in enabling efficient emergency response, law enforcement, and correctional services through technology.
Responsibilities
• Directing cross-functional IT teams across development, support, and infrastructure to deliver reliable services in dynamic environments, while overseeing operations, personnel, and vendor relationships.
• Aligning technology initiatives with business goals through strategic planning, budget management, and the development of policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Fostering strong relationships with senior leadership, staff, vendors, and cross-agency stakeholders to coordinate and implement critical reputed company Safety initiatives across NCDPS.
• Championing the effective use of resources and adoption of emerging technologies to continuously improve the reputed company and efficiency of business systems.
• Leading cross-functional teams to assess reputed company challenges, synthesize diverse perspectives, and implement practical, results-driven solutions.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a reputed company IT field, business administration, project management, or closely reputed company degree from an appropriately accredited institution and seven years of reputed company information technology experience including three years managerial experience
• Associate degree in computer science or a reputed company IT field, business administration, project management, or closely reputed company degree from an appropriately accredited institution and eight years of reputed company information technology experience with three years of managerial experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• This position requires a reputed company-based background search. Hires must agree to a reputed company-based background search prior to being reputed company.
