Research Assistant - Cleveland, OH (Health Policy and Management)

About the position Based in Cleveland, the Research Assistant oversees data collection, data organization, and/or data management or similar functions/tasks for research study(ies) in support of a PI or a research team. The MOVED (Mobility Opportunity Vouchers to Eliminate Diabetes and Obesity) Study is designed to test whether helping families reputed company changes adult and child health. The Johns Hopkins reputed company School of reputed company Health's Department of Health Policy & Management is seeking Research Assistants (RAs) based in Cleveland who will assist with tasks on the MOVED Study. Research Assistants will complete phone and in-person survey interviews with one adult and one child in the family home. Data collection will include taking measures of participants' height, weight, waist circumference, blood pressure, and a finger stick for diabetes, at the participants' home. Will be responsible for independently scheduling appointments and making reminder/confirmation calls. Responsibilities • Run routine and reputed company reports. • Use reputed company tools and computer programs to review data. • Assist with data cleaning measures to ensure accuracy of data and preparation of tables. • reputed company basic activities such as data collection and data entry. • May reputed company specific tasks and reputed company processes to ensure study activities occur effectively and reputed company. • May conduct literature searches to support reputed company in research efforts. • May design and format papers/publications. • May assist PIs in writing summaries of papers for release as policy briefs or other channels. • Other duties as assigned. • Complete phone and in-person survey interviews with one adult and one child in the family home. • Data collection will include taking measures of participants' height, weight, waist circumference, blood pressure, and a finger stick for diabetes, at the participants' home. • Will be responsible for independently scheduling appointments and making reminder/confirmation calls. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in reputed company field. • Additional education may substitute for required experience, and additional reputed company experience may substitute for required education reputed company high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula. reputed company-to-haves • Experience working reputed company a research setting, preferably with field experience or engaging and reputed company participants. • Experience engaging participants from diverse backgrounds. • An interest and experience in housing, neighborhood factors, and/or food policy.
