Civil Engineer – Entry Level (Hybrid)

Barr Engineering Co. is seeking a civil engineer to join their Hibbing, Minnesota team. In this hybrid role, you will support the Engineering and Design civil engineering group with engineering design and analysis for site layout, grading, drainage, and mass earthwork.

Responsibilities

• Design: completing site development designs
• Reporting and presentation: providing written and oral technical guidance, preparing permit review summaries, and presenting findings to decision-making bodies
• Technical analysis: performing calculations, conducting data analysis, and compiling technical reports

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and PDF editing software
• Possession of a current, valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship by Barr, now or in the future
