Program Coordinator
The Princeton Review is a leading tutoring, test prep, and college admission services company. The Program Coordinator is responsible for managing course logistics, supporting instructors, and delivering outstanding student and parent support across both in-person and online test preparation courses.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate in-person course logistics to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations with a focus on outstanding student outcomes
- Ensure all courses are staffed with best-fit instructors, while maximizing teacher availability and driving teacher satisfaction in their jobs
- Maintain classroom facilities so that teachers and students have a great environment to teach and learn and have the technology setup and instructional materials they need
- Input and maintain course details accurately in internal systems and undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of team's activities
- Deliver effective student communications with timely, accurate, and compelling information using the brand’s voice
- Deliver effective teacher communications, both regular and ad-hoc, to always keep teachers well informed about their courses and students
- Support enrolled students and their parents through outstanding phone and email customer service aimed at ensuring a delightful and frustration-free experience
- Document all student, parent, and teacher contact to ensure continuity of customer service and provide feedback data to improve all aspects of the customer experience
- Respond to calls, requests and needs of students/parents/teachers in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure all stakeholders (students, parents, teachers) receive timely and accurate communications before, during, and after each program
- Track customer interactions using cases and workflows
- Execute local marketing tactics, including event support, digital promotions, and reputation management (e.g., reviews, testimonials)
- Foster positive relationships with local organizations and community partners as needed
- Coordinate local marketing initiatives (events, email campaigns, partnerships) in collaboration with the General Manager
- Provide great advice, support, and follow-up to prospective students and their parents to ensure that they choose The Princeton Review for their test preparation, academic prep, and admissions needs
- Model collaborative, inclusive engagement with team members across the organization
- Support the execution of local program goals, including enrollment targets, student satisfaction, and operational excellence
- Gather and report on key program metrics to inform decision-making
- Communicate and apply strategy, initiatives, and programs directed by the General Manager and Executive Leadership Team
- Remain flexible and employ a growth mindset to to undertake other duties as assigned
Skills
- You have at least one year of professional experience in operations, customer/client services, or related roles (ideally within the fields of education, test preparation, or admissions). This experience can include part-time positions or internships
- You relish both virtual and face-to-face interactions, including with large groups, and have the ability to travel to Princeton, NJ and Midtown Manhattan, NY several times per month
- You are either already a Princeton Review teacher or excited to meet the requirement to complete training and certification to be a Princeton Review SAT Teacher (with the option to teach courses yourself, after-hours and for additional pay, outside this role)
- You possess an enthusiastic, confident and optimistic demeanor with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- You attend to every detail, not letting anything fall through the cracks and a knack for anticipating problems and issues before they happen
- You model integrity, professionalism, and inclusivity in all interactions
- You manage your own time well and can work remotely from your manager, teammates, and customers
- You write and speak clearly, directly, accurately, and with personality, with the ability to adhere to a brand voice and abide by the type of grammatical rules tested on the SAT
- You deliver strong customer service with empathy and compassion for students and parents
- You have the experience working collaboratively to achieve objectives
- You have modern tech fluency, including the ability to manage your responsibilities using various communication platforms, Microsoft Office tools, and proprietary platforms
