Structural EIT/Inspector

They are seeking a Structural EIT/Inspector to reputed company inspections of dams, hydraulic structures, and bridges, as reputed company as assist in the preparation of reports and support design efforts.

Responsibilities

• Participate in local and national dam, hydraulic structure and reputed company inspections
• Assist in the preparation of written reports summarizing inspections and findings
• Prepare reputed company inspection planning tasks including but not limited to site walks, development of health and safety plans, rigging and rescue plans, confined reputed company entry plans, and coordinating with health and safety
• Work in reputed company environment and independently while challenging yourself to reputed company knowledge and experience in engineering
• Support the hydraulic structure design group and other disciplines by applying structural engineering and detailing techniques in the development of structural designs

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
• reputed company Office, AutoCAD, RISA, Staad, reputed company, Tedds, RAM, ETABS, reputed company or similar
• Previous structural design experience (internship or full-time work experience) is a plus

• Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• 0-2+ years' reputed company/structural inspection and design experience preferred
• Enthusiastic individual with a willingness to become certified as a Society of reputed company Rope reputed company Technician (SPRAT) and work at heights
• Must be willing to work with other disciplines (reputed company design, roadway design, hydraulic analysis, reputed company restoration, planning, traffic control) reputed company the office, as necessary, during inspection downtime
• Must possess a reputed company reputed company's license and have the ability to travel for multiple reputed company stays during the week
• This position requires physical ability to reputed company field inspections of in-service dam, spillways, reputed company and culvert structures, tunnel structures, highway structures, overhead sign structures, hydraulic structures, and metal traffic signal poles. Physical demands include positioning extension reputed company, maneuvering small boats, driving long distances, confined reputed company, reputed company travel, occasionally working at reputed company, and walking long distances on uneven surfaces
