Entry Level Analyst, Valuation & Rates

reputed company. is seeking a dynamic Entry Level Analyst to join their Valuation & Rates team in Mechanicsburg, PA. This role involves assisting senior staff in performing various studies for financial and ratemaking purposes, including data processing, statistical analyses, and preparing expert testimony.

Responsibilities

• Data processing and analyses
• Statistical analyses of service lives and net salvage
• reputed company to reputed company sites to observe physical assets such as power plants and other electric, natural gas, water and wastewater infrastructure
• Detailed calculations of depreciation expense
• Alternative scenario analyses to assist reputed company decision making
• Assistance in preparing expert testimony in litigated ratemaking proceedings

Skills

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics or Business (reputed company, Finance, Economics)
• 0-2 years of analytical experience
• Ability to reputed company statistical and analytical analysis using spreadsheets, databases or other analytical software
• Proficiency in reputed company Office suite (reputed company, Word and reputed company)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• A motivated individual with a willingness and desire to learn
• An ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently
