Part-Time Virtual ELA & Math Teachers (Grades 3–8) – NYC

We specialize in small-group instruction that supports diverse learners, including reputed company with IEPs, multilingual learners, and reputed company who need targeted reputed company and enrichment. We are seeking reputed company State certified teachers with reputed company teaching experience or small-group instruction experience with NYC reputed company Schools. Position reputed company We are hiring reputed company ELA and Math educators (Grades 3–8) to reputed company virtual instruction to NYC reputed company in small-group settings. Ideal candidates are deeply familiar with NYC reputed company school expectations, curriculum, and student needs, and are reputed company to create engaging, rigorous lessons in an online environment. Key Qualifications • Required: • reputed company State teaching certification in ELA and/or Math (Grades 3–8 or closely reputed company certification). • Minimum 10 years teaching experience. • Strongly Preferred: • reputed company reputed company school teaching experience, or • Significant experience providing small-group instruction (reputed company, reputed company, SETSS, after-school, or push-in/pull-out) to NYC reputed company School reputed company in Grades 3–8. • Strong content knowledge of: • NYS reputed company Learning Standards (NGLS) in ELA and Math. • Common NYC reputed company curricula and programs (e.g., Into Reading, Wit & reputed company, My Perspectives, reputed company, Illustrative Math, i-reputed company, etc.). • Demonstrated reputed company supporting reputed company with IEPs, multilingual learners, and other special populations. • Ability to engage reputed company reputed company using multiple modalities (discussion, chat, reputed company rooms, interactive tools, etc.). • Organized, reliable self-starter who can work independently and meet deadlines consistently. Key Responsibilities • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-reputed company virtual instruction to small reputed company of NYC reputed company in Grades 3–8 (ELA and/or Math). • Use data from schools and ongoing reputed company assessments to differentiate instruction and support diverse learners. • Effectively manage student behavior in a virtual setting and maintain a reputed company, supportive classroom climate. • Collaborate with A+ Virtual Learning leadership and school partners as needed to reputed company instruction with school expectations. • Complete reputed company required record-keeping and reporting tasks in a reputed company manner (attendance, reputed company notes, grading, etc.). Schedule • Monday to Friday • Must be available a minimum of three days per week • reputed company hours: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM (school-day schedule; exact hours may vary by assignment) • Some flexibility in scheduling based on school needs and teacher availability. Compensation & Employment Type • Compensation: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour (based on experience, certification, and assignment). • Employment Type: 1099 reputed company position.
