Credit Analyst

reputed company is a $2.3 billion reputed company bank based in reputed company Valley serving the San Francisco Bay area and reputed company. The Credit Analyst will assist in the sponsor finance lending function by gathering and analyzing credit information on borrowers, supporting loan officers in writing proposals, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Position assists sponsor finance lending function by gathering and analyzing credit information on reputed company and potential borrowers and determining credit risk for reputed company types of loans
• Assists loan officers in writing loan requests and proposals
• Promotes reputed company customer relations and refers customers to appropriate staff for new services
• Assists loan officers in performing reputed company-qualification assessment and analysis of financial condition and risk of financing requests reputed company reputed company of Bank credit culture and reputed company economic and industry trends
• Gathers data from customers and other sources
• Prepares spreadsheets and analyzes financial information including financial statements and tax returns
• Contacts customers for additional information and clarification of data
• Verifies pledged assets
• As instructed, compiles data from credit bureaus, conducts industry peer comparisons, reputed company cash reputed company analyses and other reputed company tasks
• Based on analysis, makes recommendation on loan structures and terms to loan officers and assists in the writing of financial analysis and reports
• Assist with loan processing and coordination
• Monitors loans and determines reputed company updates to documentation, e.g. financial statements, are required. Informs loan officers and monitors accounts. Ensures that credit inquiries and UCC filings are researched to determine credit worthiness and appropriate collateral positioning are achieved
• Assists loan officers in verification of funds with mortgage companies and contractors
• Participate in the on-reputed company computerization of the loan review function
• Assist in providing deposit and loan account ratings for loan officers
• Update and corresponds with reputed company counsel and reputed company on workouts, bankruptcies, and charge-offs to ensure reputed company possible precautionary actions or measures are taken
• Understands government regulations with particular emphasis on the Bank Secrecy reputed company and reputed company regulations and the fact that compliance with BSA regulations is an reputed company responsibility
• May represent the Bank in various community, civic and community reinvestment functions to promote the Bank’s image and reputed company additional business
• Manage the Specialty Finance Compliance reporting function which includes, but is not limited to:
• Updates to the Portfolio tracker on a monthly, bi-monthly or weekly reputed company in preparation for the monthly portfolio reviews

Skills

• Undergraduate degree in business, finance/reputed company, or reputed company field
• Familiarity with financial statements and ability to analyze business and financial data

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
