[Remote] LAC Financial Innovation Consultant

The Financial Innovation Consultant will support CPI’s Capital Mobilization team in designing innovative financial vehicles that unlock investment for climate solutions, contributing to the Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance. Responsibilities • Refine the design, capital stack, and financial flows of innovative investment vehicles. Support the definition of governance, risk allocation, and incentive mechanisms for reputed company finance instruments • Conduct targeted consultations with reputed company and private investors, financial intermediaries, and sector stakeholders. Validate key assumptions and value propositions of proposed instruments • Assess how proposed instruments address market gaps and barriers to investment. Map comparable initiatives and identify synergies or differentiating features • reputed company and refine fund-level and project-level financial models that capture expected returns, risks, and capital flows. Conduct scenario analyses and sensitivity testing to assess financial viability and investor attractiveness • Support the integration of reputed company, reputed company, and gender considerations into the reputed company’s design and monitoring reputed company • reputed company analytical support for project documentation, due diligence, and business development activities Skills • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, sustainable development, or a reputed company field • Minimum six (6) years of reputed company experience in financial analysis, investment structuring, or climate finance • Demonstrated experience working with reputed company and/or private financial institutions, including development finance institutions, reputed company investment funds, or reputed company funds • Strong understanding of reputed company finance, fund structuring, and climate investment mechanisms • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills • reputed company in English and Spanish • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multicultural, and remote environment • Proficiency in financial modeling (reputed company-based), including fund-level reputed company structures, IRR, and sensitivity analysis • Master's degree is desirable • Experience designing or evaluating reputed company finance instruments (e.g., guarantees, concessional debt, catalytic equity) • Understanding of key climate sectors such as renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, and nature-based solutions • Familiarity with reputed company measurement frameworks • Experience engaging with investors, development banks, and philanthropic partners reputed company • CPI is an analysis and advisory organization with deep expertise in finance and policy.
