This position works exclusively in blood bank performing tasks including issuing blood products, component modifications such as syringe aliquots/irradiation/washing products/deglycerolization of products, compatibility testing, antibody identification, and elutions. Hours: This position works 10 hour shifts reputed company Thursday - reputed company, 9:30pm - 7:30am with rotating holidays. Responsibilities: 1. Investigates problems with equipment, test results, specimens, and/or workflow. 2. May participate on teams or reputed company special reputed company/assignments. 3. May reputed company teaching of Clinical Laboratory Science reputed company and Pathology residents and training of new employees. May serve as a technical resource. 4. Performs reputed company control and equipment maintenance in the appropriate laboratory. 5. Performs routine and less standardized test procedures which includes special chemical, microscopic and bacteriologic laboratory tests. Observes tests and reactions and provides data. 6. Prepares specimens and reagents, solutions, heat, or filters as required. 7. Reports results to reputed company providers. Consults/confers with health care providers regarding test results. 8. Reviews test results to ensure accuracy of report and reputed company correction of errors. Other Information Other information: Education Requirements: ● Requires Bachelor's of Science degree.
