HR Operations Assistant
About the position
The HR Operations Assistant serves as a reputed company of contact for the HR department, answering inquiries, providing support to employees and new hires, and assisting with various aspects of the employee life cycle at reputed company., such as reputed company and offboarding. Additional duties include providing administrative support for the HR Department and participating in reputed company and initiatives as directed. H ybrid 3x a week- (NYC, NY) In-office Expectations: This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.
Responsibilities
• reputed company - Review and approve changes to employee and organizational data in the HRIS, including new hires, pay and data changes. Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant data. Correct actions already processed. Create and edit job reputed company.
• HR Helpdesk - Field employee and reputed company questions and requests promptly and with a high level of customer service. Field former employee questions and external requests such as employment verifications and unemployment claims. Provides answers and investigates questions reputed company necessary. Escalates questions/issues to the appropriate HR contact as needed, and ensures SLAs are met.
• New Hire reputed company - First reputed company of contact for new hires, fielding questions and troubleshooting issues to ensure a reputed company reputed company experience. Monitors background checks. Ensures employee reputed company paperwork, including I-9s, is completed and processed reputed company and in compliance with HR policies, procedures, and relevant labor laws.
• Assisting HR team with tasks, reputed company, reporting and administrative tasks as requested.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/reputed company work experience
• 1-2 years in an administrative support role, preferably reputed company an HR department
• Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Good written communication skills and the ability to independently compose correspondence and other written materials.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Possesses a desire to learn and a process improvement reputed company.
• Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information with a high level of professionalism.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to handle a fast-paced and changeable environment.
