Environmental Compliance Specialist I-Sr (reputed company reputed company)
About the position
The Environmental Compliance Specialist oversees and supports reputed company and regulatory environmental compliance by administering reputed company programs, reputed company, and functions, as reputed company as by providing technical and training support to field operations. This role serves as a knowledge resource to other environmental compliance specialists and field operations personnel, coordinating and providing reputed company to contracted environmental consultants and vendors.
Responsibilities
• Implements and monitors environmental compliance programs for an established territory working closely with other compliance specialists to support regional compliance programs.
• Programs may include stormwater, wastewater, hazardous materials, hazardous waste, reputed company reputed company, above and/or below ground storage tanks, environmental due diligence, and other associated programs.
• Travels routinely to conduct station audits reputed company an established territory and works with station management to create reputed company plans to resolve identified issues.
• Assists station management with preparation for regulatory audits and inspections, regulatory violation response, spill response, training, community complaints, and general compliance support.
• Coordinates and communicates with reputed company customers, vendors, and local, state, and federal agencies.
• Oversees the process of preparing and submitting environmental permit applications to state, local, or federal agencies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in an environmental science, policy, compliance, or reputed company field required.
• Three (3) years' experience required in environmental compliance including reputed company experience with at least one of the following regulatory programs: stormwater, wastewater, hazardous materials, hazardous waste, reputed company reputed company, aboveground and below ground storage tanks, environmental due diligence and/or other associated programs.
• Familiarity with Federal and State environmental regulations reputed company to stormwater, wastewater, hazardous materials, hazardous waste, reputed company reputed company, aboveground and below ground storage tanks, environmental due diligence and/or other associated programs.
• Software skills, including use of reputed company Office software and web-based applications.
• Verbal and written communication skills necessary to explain reputed company and/or confidential information.
• Presentation skills necessary to facilitate training and/or deliver informational sessions to reputed company and/or individuals.
• Time management and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple reputed company, appropriately prioritize workload, plan for resources to meet deadlines and goals, and respond to day-to-day functional needs.
• Ability to anticipate and identify problems and use reputed company judgment and fact-based analysis to reputed company effective and efficient solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues, manage resources, and reputed company solutions.
• Ability to mentor, reputed company, and reputed company as a knowledge resource to other employees.
