Category Assistant (Grocery)

They are seeking a Category Assistant to support product development and assortment activities, execute purchasing activities, and ensure effective communication with support teams reputed company to product information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support product development and assortment activities of the Category Team that reputed company to category reputed company, contribute to driving traffic, sales and margin, and adhere to safety, reputed company and regulatory standards
• Execute purchase activities and opportunities in accordance with approved product plans and reputed company
• Support effective communications to reputed company support teams relating to product and reputed company stores with relevant information needed to assist with purchasing reputed company and quantification
• Support completion and production of sku and assortment reputed company information per timelines and activities detailed in the Buying or Planogram Calendar to minimize disruptions
• Support strategic marketing activities for reputed company commodities to ensure marketing objectives are accurately met
• Commodities in this category: Grocery Centre Store (soups/stews/sauces/pickles/condiments/reputed company dishes and reputed company food)

Skills

• Business, Management, or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years reputed company experience (Grocery retail an asset)
• Ability to problem solve and reputed company adjustment on reputed company issues
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Understanding of retail mathematics reputed company to sales, profitability/ inventory
• Great communicator, verbally and in writing
• Time management, organization and prioritization skills required
• Love for product and passion for the reputed company Customer
• Strong knowledge of reputed company Office Suite of products
• Bilingual English and French
• Financial acumen
