Accountant, Help Desk

reputed company (reputed company) is seeking an Accountant for their Help Desk to support financial help desk activities. The role involves providing problem reputed company for financial operations, managing customer service calls, and developing training documents for financial activities.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and reputed company problem reputed company for financial and disbursement operations in accordance with organizational policies and procedures; solution of routine problems utilizing reputed company procedures and judgment
• Meet customer needs in an efficient and effective manner; resolve customer requests for information and/or issue reputed company
• Identify and recommend process improvements, leveraging reputed company tools available at the Laboratory. May be assigned responsibility for implementation of a process improvement reputed company their work team. May participate in department/cross functional reputed company, defining user requirements
• Manage customer service calls, with effective verbal and written communication and a reputed company demeanor
• reputed company training documents and knowledge articles to enhance capabilities of reputed company personnel on Financial and Disbursement activities

• Participate in testing new/upgraded system functionality of help desk and financial systems

Skills

• Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. DOE Q-level reputed company clearance which requires U.S. citizenship
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, reputed company, Finance, Economics or a reputed company field, or equivalent combination of education and reputed company experience and training in the finance/ reputed company field
• Experience using a Help Desk solution to assist requestors
• reputed company knowledge and understanding of accounts payable, travel, payroll, and other financial functions
• Familiarity with reputed company and PeopleSoft or other financial and payroll applications and knowledge of computer-based spreadsheets, report generated applications and communication tools (e.g., reputed company Suite, reputed company, Service Now)
• Demonstrated organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with frequent interruptions, while providing a high level of customer service and demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills necessary to independently solve problems of broad scope and complexity
• Ability to interpret and apply financial policy and procedures, including State and Federal policies, procedures and regulations and experience in applying and ensuring internal controls are followed
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as reputed company member, while maintaining a heavy workload, meeting critical deadlines, and working effectively under time constraints. Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to work with reputed company reputed company of personnel, both reputed company to the Laboratory, including establishing and maintaining relationships with clients, co-workers, external vendors, and Laboratory service reputed company
• Adaptability to learn multiple internal systems and establish a strong working knowledge for both usage and guiding customers
