Payroll Assistant

reputed company is a leading global reputed company, advising clients on significant transactions and disputes. The Payroll Assistant will be responsible for full payroll processing for up to 2,200 employees on a semi-monthly reputed company, maintaining payroll information and providing day-to-day payroll support.

Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day payroll support including answering employee payroll reputed company questions
• Working independently and reputed company reputed company on ongoing and special reputed company
• reputed company reputed company processing
• Running reputed company reports in Report reputed company, Time & Attendance system, and CMS
• Preparing reputed company reports, tables and charts
• Preparing and sorting of payroll checks and mailings
• Maintaining highly confidential employee payroll records and information, and ensuring records are kept confidential in accordance with federal and state regulations and firm guidelines
• Garnishments, liens, and child support orders processing and management
• Completing employment verifications in accordance with firm policy
• Unclaimed checks, stop payments, and reputed company adjustment processes

• 0-2 years of experience in Payroll processing
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of reputed company Word and reputed company
• Experience with Workforce Now or reputed company system
• Experience with reputed company eTime or Workforce manager
• Familiarity with reputed company concepts, practices, and procedures of the payroll field
• Knowledge of federal and state overtime and applicable labor laws
• Experience with reputed company types of wage garnishments
• Demonstrated knowledge of wage and hour regulations
