Job Overview

A job with arenaflex Packaging is a valuable opportunity to contribute to the development of packaging for arenaflex's beloved owned brands, exclusive labels, and travel packaging. Your impact will drive sales and grow brand love through packaging that is visitor-driven, on-brand, competitively "at shelf," and category relevant. Here, you will leverage internal and external relationships, partner on research and analysis to support packaging optimization, establish best practices for scale, and support sustainability initiatives. As part of a global team, you will have the chance to collaborate with arenaflex offices, product vendors, and packaging suppliers across the US, China, India, and additional international locations. This role will support and impact all areas of Owned Brand business. Key Responsibilities

  • Build foundational data requirements, technical classification structures, and specific compliance rationale to support packaging design optimization and sustainability efforts across all Owned Brand organizations.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including purchasing, design, store operations, marketing, supply chain, properties, and compliance program owners, in establishing relevant data requirements and flexible guidelines that consistently reflect our commitment to safety, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and performance.
  • Develop and administer change management processes to ensure accurate packaging document management portfolios across multiple systems and partner teams.
  • Create, maintain, and execute innovative training and creative assets, for internal and external audiences, to drive comprehensive understanding of standards, specifications, and data accuracy best practices.
  • Evaluate data requirements, standards, and specifications to advance safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions that adhere to industry standards, promote good engineering practices, are consistent with risk tolerance assumptions, and maintain a leadership position in the industry.
  • Offer support and guidance to cross-functional teams and colleagues to ensure proper interpretation and implementation of packaging data requirements, standards, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with relevant internal regulatory and compliance experts, identifying impacts on current data requirements and standards, taking action to mitigate risks, and identifying opportunities to drive compliance.
  • Work with cross-functional global partners to drive effective communication and roadshows around stated objective development, compliance, and data accuracy best practice requirements and expectations.
  • Utilize data to identify trends or issues, in collaboration with technology teams, to measure the effectiveness of training delivered and communications sent.
  • Investigate industry trends and assess arenaflex's corresponding data and standards practices, sharing insights and recommendations with the appropriate audience for change and compliance.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to others, driving effectiveness and efficiency in team results.
  • Create and maintain a positive team culture by demonstrating behaviors consistent with arenaflex's values of Inclusivity, Association, and Drive; ensure ongoing, effective communications to the team, and support individualized development by offering regular performance feedback, coaching, recognition, and assessment.

Essential Qualifications

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience creating and managing documentation and guidelines programs, preferably including packaging design and development
  • Ability to influence without authority, manage projects, work with groups, resolve conflict, build consensus, establish affinity, and collaborate effectively, both internally and externally, across all levels of an organization
  • Experience with documentation best practices, technical writing, and reporting
  • Skilled at creating and advising on content, structure, and delivery of effective training platforms, roadshows, and communication
  • Experience leading teams or projects, driving collaboration, empowerment, and cooperation
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, creative thinking, and technical skills
  • Related experience with packaging or consumer goods manufacturing preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and resilience; open to working in uncertain and constantly changing conditions
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work, communicate, and lead in a highly collaborative environment
  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), Vizio applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a retail or consumer goods environment
  • Knowledge of industry trends and developments in packaging design and sustainability
  • Experience with data analysis and interpretation
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
