Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Director of Data Architecture and Engineering at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and Innovating: Overseeing the design and development of data pipelines, solutions, and end-to-end data architecture to support our business needs, ensuring that our data systems are robust, secure, and scalable.

  • Cloud Solutions: Developing and managing cloud-based data solutions, ensuring data protection and regulatory compliance, and leveraging cloud-based advancements to develop state-of-the-art data solutions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their data needs, and aligning them with our data strategy to ensure that our data solutions meet the needs of our business and our customers.
  • Advanced Technologies: Utilizing big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka, and integrating them with cloud-based advancements to develop cutting-edge data solutions that drive business value and innovation.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, with a strong foundation in computer science, mathematics, or statistics.
  • Experience: A minimum of 12 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, and a proven track record of success in leading data initiatives and managing high-performing teams.
  • Expertise: Proven experience in data strategy, architecture, and MDM implementation, with a deep understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security.
  • Technical Skills: Extensive experience with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS) and big data technologies, with a strong foundation in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.
