Job Overview

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team as a full-time Project Associate, working in a hybrid environment that combines the flexibility of remote work with the collaboration and camaraderie of in-office interactions. Your week will be split into a mix of 2-3 days working from home and 2-3 days in the office, allowing you to balance your work and personal life effectively. As a key member of our Revenue Recovery Department, you will be responsible for providing critical support to our team of healthcare professionals, ensuring that our clients receive the reimbursement they are entitled to.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties as a Medical Record and Data Entry Clerk will be diverse and challenging, requiring a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proficiency in working with numbers and data. Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Retrieving patient medical records from various hospital systems, ensuring that all necessary information is accurately and efficiently obtained.
  • Generating and preparing patient itemized bills in the appropriate formats for internal and external audits, guaranteeing that all documentation is compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Extracting and entering necessary information from and to hospital patient accounting systems, maintaining the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Making phone calls to post-acute healthcare facilities to obtain information needed on patients, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Running and creating reports, analyzing data, and identifying trends to support the recovery team in their efforts to secure reimbursement for our clients.
  • Assisting with any other information gathering or data entry tasks as needed by the recovery team, demonstrating a flexible and adaptable approach to your work.
  • Scanning and indexing documents, ensuring that all electronic files are accurately labeled and easily accessible.
