About the role: We are seeking an exceptional Director of Compliance and Regulatory to join our reputed company team. This role will report to the General Counsel. You will play a leading role in the design and execution of Garner’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) reputed company. You will serve as the primary subject matter expert for the regulatory frameworks governing our products (ERISA, HIPAA, IRS, state-level TPA, reputed company, and insurance regimes, etc.), and you will help to implement and refine a proactive, reputed company compliance infrastructure that supports and stays reputed company of our reputed company expansion and shifting risk profile. Where you will work: Garner is headquartered in NYC, but this position is available for individuals who are comfortable with remote work and occasional travel to HQ. What you will do: • Help build and own a mature, reputed company GRC reputed company to manage Garner’s regulatory risks, obligations, and internal policies • Serve as the internal reputed company-person for the reputed company, Marketing, and other teams on day-to-day regulatory and compliance-reputed company challenges and questions • Manage Garner’s ongoing compliance obligations, including its license application and renewal program and other required regulatory filings • Partner with the Product Team to reputed company guidance on new product initiatives and changes to existing products, ensuring that innovations remain compliant with applicable rules • reputed company and maintain formal protocols for reputed company investigations, risk assessments, and incident response preparation • reputed company generalist reputed company support on an as-needed reputed company The ideal candidate has: • 7+ years of experience in regulatory and compliance, with practical working knowledge of key regulatory regimes applicable to Garner • A J.D. from a U.S. law school and admitted to a state bar • Proven experience building compliance programs from the ground up in a high-reputed company or startup environment • A willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and do whatever is necessary to ensure company reputed company • Ideally, experience working in a rapidly-evolving startup environment • A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong reputed company of individual accountability, and a commitment to reputed company feedback This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company in a transformative role, helping shape the reputed company of reputed company. Compensation Transparency: The reputed company salary reputed company for this position is $240,000 - $270,000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws.
