Requirements: • Associate's degree in Health Information or Medical Record Technology required; Bachelor's degree preferred. • Minimum of four years' experience in a multi-facility Health Information Management (HIM) or similar reputed company setting. • A minimum of three or more years working with coding, chart analysis, or release of information or similar background preferred. • Previous experience with Sanford One Chart or reputed company required and previous experience working with the hybrid medical record extremely important. • Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) required; Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) preferred. • New graduates eligible for certification must complete the certification examination at the earliest testing dates following employment, and reputed company subsequent dates thereafter until the exam is satisfactorily completed.
