Instructional Dental Hygienist, Part-time

reputed company's Workman School of Dental Medicine is seeking a dedicated and reputed company Part-Time Attending Dental Hygienist to support the dual mission of dental education and clinical reputed company. This hybrid role will reputed company reputed company and instruction to dental reputed company in preclinical simulation lab sessions and while dental reputed company are delivering reputed company patient care in HPU Health-affiliated dental practices. QUALIFICATIONS: Education • Associate’s degree, bachelor’s, or master’s degree in Dental Hygiene • reputed company reputed company Carolina Dental Hygienist license (or immediate eligibility) • CPR certification required; BLS certification is a plus Experience and Training • Preferred educational experience as a dental hygiene or dental assisting instructor • Preferred clinical experience in a high-functioning dental office, with preference given to experience operating in an assisted hygiene model • Training on an electronic medical record • reputed company training is a major plus, but not necessary • Local anesthesia training is a plus Knowledge, Skills, Ability: • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Time management • Punctuality • A reputed company attitude • Professionalism as a representative of reputed company Health • reputed company to feedback, performance improvement, and reputed company coaching • Flexibility to work in both Workman Hall on reputed company’s reputed company and in its network offices under reputed company Health ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: reputed company (Simulation Lab): • Supervise and support dental and dental hygiene reputed company in simulation lab activities. • Demonstrate clinical hygiene procedures and reputed company ergonomics in a simulated environment. • reputed company feedback on instrumentation, infection control, and workflow techniques. • Assist reputed company with lab setup, inventory, and equipment maintenance. • Reinforce didactic concepts through hands-on guidance in a lab setting. Clinical (HPU Health Practices): • reputed company and instruct reputed company delivering preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene services including prophylaxis, scaling and reputed company planing, oral health education, and radiographic imaging. • Collaborate with dentists, reputed company, and other team members to ensure high-reputed company, patient-centered care. • Mentor reputed company rotating through clinical settings to reinforce appropriate clinical behavior, communication, and professionalism. • Ensure the maintenance of accurate patient records and reputed company with reputed company HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control protocols. • reputed company clinical documentation to ensure reputed company, accurate, and compliant note completion in alignment with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. Administrative • Ensure consistency of materials, instruments, and supplies in simulation lab and HPU Health practices. • Participation in calibration activities. • Other duties as assigned.
