Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Remote Bilingual (Spanish) Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a customer service representative, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional support and solutions to our clients and members. Your primary responsibility will be to answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide timely and accurate resolutions to issues. You will be an integral part of our customer service team, working collaboratively to ensure that our clients and members receive the highest level of service and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assure the accurate and timely handling of client and member calls, with total follow-through and resolution
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer client and provider questions, including claims payment, status, and coverage information, as well as interpreting client health plan protocols
- Backup to the claims processing area by assisting with reports and workflow queues as assigned
- Check tracer documentation and maintain accurate and complete call documentation
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, returning incoming calls and performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume healthcare call center, with knowledge of healthcare claims review or processing
- Healthcare or health insurance background required, with experience with BCBS HMOI or other insurance plans a plus
- Proficiency in using multiple systems, including Teams and Excel, with experience with Jira a plus
- Availability for an 8-hour shift between 8am to 6pm Central time, with flexibility to work in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- HMO Managed care Medicare Advantage experience, with knowledge of value-based healthcare principles and practices
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service delivery

Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is between $19.00 to $20.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly. We also offer a range of benefits and perks, including those listed above.
