About the Role

arenaflex is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Remote Customer Service Representative to join its Customer Success team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, supporting and consulting potential and current parent-clients, and building scalable systems and processes for a great customer journey. Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for parent-clients, ensuring their concerns are heard, understood, and addressed promptly and efficiently.
  • Foster positive, long-lasting relationships with parents and students, delivering exceptional service that builds trust, satisfaction, and loyalty.
  • Address parent questions or concerns, ensuring that parent and student needs are met effectively and in a timely manner, and providing timely and effective solutions to resolve issues.
  • Serve as the primary contact for potential customers, answering questions, and providing support and consultation via WeChat, email, and phone calls, and converting leads into sales.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team to develop and implement strategies that drive customer engagement, retention, and growth, and contribute to the development of scalable systems and processes.

Work Hours and Environment

The Remote Customer Service Representative will work 30-40 hours per week, with a schedule of 8:30am - 5:30pm (Pacific Time). What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous customer service or customer-facing experience, preferably in an education or technology setting.
  • A passion for learning and excitement to grow by tackling challenges head-on within a team, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with parents, students, and colleagues, and to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Comfort working in a remote, fast-paced, and dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Quick and clear communication skills, with a knack for timely responses, and the ability to think critically and creatively to resolve customer issues.
  • Fluency in Mandarin (speaking, reading, and writing) is essential, as you will be communicating with parents and students who speak Mandarin as their primary language.

Essential Qualifications

In addition to the skills and experience listed above, the ideal candidate will:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent, and a degree in a related field (e.g., education, communications, customer service) is preferred.
  • Have experience working with customers in a remote or virtual setting, and be comfortable using technology to communicate and collaborate with colleagues and customers.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative and self-motivation, and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience working in an education or technology setting, with a strong understanding of the education sector and the needs of K-12 students and parents.
  • Knowledge of customer service software and technologies, such as CRM systems, helpdesk software, and social media platforms.
  • Certification in customer service or a related field, such as a Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP).
