Role Description This role is designed for an early-career medical writer looking to deepen their expertise in scientific and clinical communications in the biopharmaceutical sector. The role will be focused primarily on authoring drafts of scientific publications, abstracts, and other materials related to submission to high-impact journals and conferences, with other scientific writing as needed. The key success criteria are speed and quality of output for a large volume of drafting in a concentrated period over the next year. Priovant has a high-growth culture and following approximately one year of excellent performance in this role, a high-performing candidate will have an opportunity to take on expanded responsibilities at Priovant if desired. Interested candidates should submit a writing sample along with a CV as part of their application. • Assist with drafting and formatting manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and plain-language summaries of results from Priovant clinical trials for medical journals and conferences • Generate clear, professional, publication-quality figures and schematics using tools such as BioRender, GraphPad Prism, and PowerPoint • Conduct literature reviews for relevant background materials for publications • Manage references and citations using EndNote (or other reference management systems) • Maintain an organized archive of manuscript versions, data files, and submission records Qualifications • At least 2 years of relevant medical writing or scientific communications experience • Advanced scientific degree (e.g., PhD or PharmD) strongly preferred; candidates with a BA or MA may also be considered with a demonstrated track record of strong scientific writing and overall high academic achievement • Enjoys writing, and is able to produce a large volume of high-quality written output on tight timeframes consistent with a fast-moving business • Driven and hard-working; seeking an intense, performance-oriented culture with both accountability and growth opportunities • Collaborative and low-ego; able to thrive in a team-oriented environment Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
