About the Role
Her Time Therapy is seeking a licensed mental health therapist with specialized training in financial therapy or financial counseling to join our women-centered, feminist group practice.
This role is ideal for therapists who understand how money, trauma, anxiety, power, identity, and relationships intersect — and who want to provide ethical, clinically grounded financial therapy (not coaching).

Her Time Therapy is a clinician-owned, women-centered telehealth practice serving clients across Colorado. We specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, relationships, grief, burnout, and life transitions.
We are not a high-volume corporate therapy platform run by tech bros. We are a women founded, practioninor led group practice that honors clinician capacity, autonomy, and ethics — and handles the business side so you can focus on therapy.

Who This Position Is For

• Are a licensed mental health therapist in Colorado (LPC or LPCC)

• Prefer an ethical, feminist, clinician-led practice over corporate platforms
Required Financial Therapy Credentials
Applicants must hold a recognized financial counseling or financial therapy credential appropriate for licensed mental health professionals.
Required (one of the following):
• Certified Financial Therapist™ (CFT™) – Financial Therapy Association
• Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC®) – Association for Financial Counseling & Planning Education
Coaching-only certifications or financial coaching programs do not meet this requirement. This role requires formal training grounded in both mental health and financial counseling ethics.
Required Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or related field
• Active Colorado license: LPC or LPCC
• Financial therapy or financial counseling certification (see above)
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
• Comfort providing therapy via telehealth
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
• Organized, ethical, and client-centered clinical style
Primary Responsibilities
• Provide individual therapy via HIPAA-compliant telehealth
• Integrate financial therapy approaches when clinically appropriate
• Address issues such as financial anxiety, financial trauma, money avoidance, shame, relationship conflict around money, and decision-making stress
• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Participate in consultation, supervision, and ongoing professional development
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and Colorado laws
Schedule Expectations
• Full-Time: Minimum 25 sessions/week
• Part-Time: Minimum 10 sessions/week
• Evenings/weekends optional — not required
• Clinicians must maintain a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace and reliable internet
