Performance Testing with OpenText LoadRunner

Role: Performance Testing with OpenText/LoadRunner Location: Remote Job Description: Collaborate with stakeholders to define performance testing objectives and create comprehensive test plans and strategies. Develop and enhance Vuser scripts for various protocols, including creating realistic user scenarios using the LoadRunner Controller. Implement advanced scripting techniques like correlation and parameterization to simulate real-world user behavior and unique data inputs. Configure and run manual and goal-oriented scenarios, including the use of rendezvous points to simulate peak load conditions. Monitor the application and server performance during test execution using LoadRunner's runtime analysis tools. Analyze performance test results, generate detailed reports, and provide actionable recommendations to address bottlenecks and optimize application performance. Skills and Qualifications: • Proven experience with Client/OpenText LoadRunner, including VuGen, Controller, and Analysis components. • Strong understanding of performance testing life cycle (PTLC) principles and methodologies. • Proficiency in scripting languages and C-based functions for script enhancements. • Experience with different performance testing scenarios (e.g., load, stress, soak testing). • Familiarity with performance monitoring tools and the ability to interpret performance metrics like throughput. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying root causes of performance issues.
