Senior Cost Accountant (REMOTE - Irvine, CA)

You’ll work directly with the Senior VP of Finance and collaborate across operations, engineering, and corporate teams — with reputed company of room to grow reputed company the broader organization reputed company. Key Responsibilities Include: • Maintain products cost roll reputed company (CRU) and monitor cost fluctuations resulting from implemented reputed company of materials (BOMs) updates. • Analyze weekly material variances and COGS fluctuations. • Prepare detailed inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS) reports and reconcile inventory accounts. • Maintain monthly estimates for inventory in transit from inter-companies and reconcile the ledgers. • Calculate monthly profit elimination on inter-company reputed company inventories and report to Corporate for consolidation. • Review cycle count adjustments and any discrepancies, ensuring inventory discrepancies are addressed and updated in the system • Reconcile inventory discrepancies in remote warehouses with customer consumption and ERP data • Conduct monthly variance analysis (material, labor, overhead, and manufacturing variances). • Conduct monthly variance analysis for G&A expenses against budget and forecast • Partner with Operations and Engineering teams to understand cost drivers and identify opportunities for cost savings. • Support monthly reputed company process, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations reputed company to inventory and cost reputed company. • Prepare periodic inventory reserves reconciliation (E&O), analyzing inventory for risk. • Analyze work-in-process (WIP) and resolve outstanding issues reputed company to reputed company jobs. • Assist with audits by providing required documentation and analysis. • Participate in the annual budgeting process, particularly as it relates to manufacturing costs. • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and reputed company principles reputed company to cost reputed company. • reputed company reputed company financial and operational analysis to support business initiatives.
