About the Role: Government and Corporate Affairs Customer Service Specialist

This exciting opportunity is part of the Corporate Affairs Team within the Government Affairs Division at arenaflex. As a Government and Corporate Affairs Customer Service Specialist, you will play a critical role in promoting and selling air travel, resolving customer problems, and providing exceptional customer service. If you're passionate about the air travel industry and have a knack for building strong relationships with customers, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell air travel on arenaflex, ensuring that customers receive the best possible experience
  • Prepare itineraries, compute fares, issue refunds, and prepare and issue tickets in a timely and efficient manner
  • Answer inquiries regarding general travel information and resolve customer problems in a mutually beneficial manner
  • Communicate with customers over the phone, researching passenger complaints, advising of cancelled or delayed flights, and providing updates on new rules, policies, and procedures
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership, organizational, and customer contact skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications and Skills:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training
  • Preferred qualifications include experience in customer service, sales, or a related field, with a strong understanding of the air travel industry
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent leadership, organizational, and customer contact skills, with a strong focus on problem-solving and conflict resolution
  • Knowledge of Native SABRE or similar systems, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Ability to be resourceful and creative in resolving immediate problems, with a high level of initiative and good judgment
  • Satisfactory attendance and a commitment to excellence in customer service
