Job Summary

Under moderate supervision, the Senior Data Analyst will plan and execute cycles and arrangements related to a wide variety of informational indexes utilized for data/text mining, analysis, and business intelligence to enable informed business decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of statistical analysis procedures, data visualization tools, and emerging technologies to assess trends and develop significant insights and recommendations for management.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply statistical analysis procedures to inspect structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate sources to gain insights into key business issues and expectations.
• Design and develop solutions from initial concept to production, communicating results to a broad range of audiences.
• Utilize current and emerging technologies to evaluate trends and develop significant insights and recommendations for management, via understanding of the business model and the data available for analysis.
• Regularly use data, statistical, and quantitative analysis, limited modeling, and fact-based management to drive navigation.
• Mentor less senior staff, work in cross-functional teams and projects, and regularly present to management.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Economics, or Finance.
• At least 3 years of work experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem-solving, operations research, marketing analysis, simulation development, or predictive analysis.
• Proficiency in analysis software and applications.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following skills and experiences are highly desirable:

• Experience or coursework with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with the following: requirements gathering; probability and statistics; TSQL/PLSQL; Python or R; numerical analysis; discrete data analysis.
