Role Description
This role is ideal for an experienced CFO who thrives in client-facing advisory work and enjoys stepping in when organizations have immediate, high-impact financial leadership needs.
• The Fractional CFO will provide strategic and operational financial leadership to CRCFO clients in the real estate sector.
• Engagements typically range from 0–30 hours per week, depending on client needs and project scope.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA preferred, but not required
• Significant experience in:
• Real estate development and construction/renovation
• Acquisitions, property management, asset management, and investments
• Commercial and multi-unit residential properties
• LIHTC (Low Income Housing Tax Credit) experience strongly preferred
• Proven experience with investor reporting and direct interaction with investors
• Demonstrated leadership overseeing teams responsible for:
• General accounting
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Project accounting
• Asset management
• Advanced experience creating and modernizing:
• Cash-flow forecasting models
• Treasury and liquidity management frameworks
• Controllership and financial reporting models
• Hands-on experience with real estate systems such as:
• Yardi
• AppFolio
• Buildium
