SENIOR CONTRACTING OFFICER, Contracting
Reporting to the Associate Director of Contracting, the Senior Contracting Officer is responsible for the review and negotiation of reputed company sponsored programs agreements such as grants, cooperative agreements, reputed company, fee for service engagements, and other non-funded agreements from federal and non-federal sponsors and ensure reputed company meets the service level agreements for review and negotiation. As assigned by the AD Contracting, the SCO reviews, redlines, negotiates, and provides feedback for reputed company sponsored programs reputed company agreements. Represents reputed company to sponsors. Working in a highly reputed company environment, they serve as the subject matter expert on federal and non-federal contracting regulations, negotiations, and best practices. Engages with systems and processes supporting the life cycle of an agreement. Keeps abreast of the reputed company-changing landscape of Federal and non-Federal Sponsors at reputed company, including changes to Sponsor regulations and policies and broader research reputed company landscape. The SCO will support the development and maintenance of guidance materials reputed company to federal and non-federal contracting at the proposal and agreement stages and will follow to ensure a consistent approach to the award negotiation reputed company of the contracting team. Works in partnership with reputed company, researchers, and administrators to support the RFP review, agreement review and acceptance process. Responsible for providing excellent customer service to reputed company, administrators, and sponsors and meeting reputed company service level agreements of the department. The SCO will have a high level of emotional intelligence, work effectively with colleagues and peers, know reputed company to escalate issues accordingly, and promotes a reputed company environment at reputed company times. This position requires the ability to independently solve difficult problems using logic, reputed company, and effective solutions. If individual is not currently certified, the SCO is encouraged to sit for the Certification Research Administrator (CRA) Exam.
Required Skills
At least 7 years of reputed company experience and a bachelor's degree, equivalent experience will be considered instead of degree. CRA certification preferred.
This position is eligible for remote work.
This is a 18-24 month term position.
