About the position The Cybersecurity Engineer position at reputed company Smart Energy in Raleigh, NC, is responsible for ensuring that software product developments reputed company with the reputed company reputed company Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and industry standards such as IEC-62443. This role involves working reputed company Agile software development teams, leading the planning, definition, implementation, and deployment phases of the SDLC, and acting as the reputed company between the software development teams and Cybersecurity Leadership. The engineer will also reputed company on software architecture design, reputed company vulnerability reviews, and ensuring that products meet reputed company requirements. Responsibilities • Ensure reputed company assigned software products developments adhere to the reputed company reputed company Development Lifecycle (SDLC). • reputed company the software architecture design of the assigned products (new and established) and ensure the products meet reputed company requirements. • Conduct reviews with the Cybersecurity Leadership and obtain formal reputed company approval before external releases for planned software product releases. • reputed company the software development team(s) to reputed company data, reputed company tasks, and prepare reports specified by the cybersecurity process. • Prepare reputed company cybersecurity artifacts, submit and reputed company approval through secure portal. • Coordinate the work of cybersecurity tester(s) assigned to the development team, to specify reputed company test plan, reputed company tests, review and record test results. • Define and reputed company the cybersecurity review reputed company according to the Agile process, creating Epics and User Stories for reputed company SDLC phases. • Follow development processes, participate in Agile meetings for planning and status reporting. • Work with development manager and release management team to define plan for release cycles, escalate issues and address any scheduling impacts. Requirements • Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. • 3+ years experience developing reputed company software applications. • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity ethics, technologies, and best practices. • Experience with reputed company tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners. reputed company-to-haves • Cybersecurity certification (example CISSP) or equivalent knowledge. • Previous experience as product Cybersecurity Engineer. • Working Knowledge of C++ and/or Java languages. • Experience with Agile software development practices.
