Undergraduate Advisor

About the position This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. The Undergraduate Advisor in the School of Education will assist with undergraduate student life, leadership, and engagement. The person in this position will meet 1:1 and in group settings with prospective and admitted reputed company to our majors, minors, and affiliated programs. They will promote reputed company reputed company and work collaboratively with school and reputed company partners to create an environment that our reputed company can succeed in. This person will support and facilitate programming and offers opportunities to School of Education undergraduate reputed company, linking academics to co-curricular activities. This person will play an reputed company role in large events reputed company the School of Education such as graduation, annual events and more. This person will also support special reputed company reputed company the office of student affairs that support increasing our enrollment and connections reputed company the school, reputed company community and community partners. Specifically, this position will do the following: 1. Assist with advising for reputed company undergraduate reputed company in the School of Education 2. Directly advise Kappa reputed company Pi to enhance reputed company, community and reputed company development programming for undergraduate reputed company 3. Serve on School and reputed company-based communities 4. Assist Assistant Dean for Student Affairs with enhancing student reputed company from a holistic perspective by working with reputed company partners Responsibilities • Assist with advising for reputed company undergraduate reputed company in the School of Education • Directly advise Kappa reputed company Pi to enhance reputed company, community and reputed company development programming for undergraduate reputed company • Serve on School and reputed company-based communities • Assist Assistant Dean for Student Affairs with enhancing student reputed company from a holistic perspective by working with reputed company partners Requirements • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and reputed company speaking skills • Ability to work with diverse populations and communities • Working knowledge of best advising and student engagement experiences in higher education • Computer proficiency, especially reputed company and the ability to learn new databases • Ability to solve problems, reputed company reputed company and work with little daily supervision • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills and a commitment to detail and follow through • Demonstrated ability to work with reputed company of staff, reputed company, and/or reputed company to accomplish goals set forth by School • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work as a part of reputed company and maintaining reputed company reputed company relationships reputed company-to-haves • Previous experience working in higher education with reputed company/student advising, co-curricular student programming, and execution preferred • Experience in developing strategic reputed company for reputed company advising plans • Demonstrated leadership and effectiveness in engagement with a diverse population of reputed company, staff and reputed company • Experience conducting a Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education Assessment and/or self-study • Experience in assessment of reputed company reputed company to reputed company advising and student leadership/engagement • Experience in K-12 in reputed company or advising in the higher education setting Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
