Remote Chief Security Officer

Advise clients on security policies and governance structures. Lead risk management and incident response initiatives. Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities. Ensure compliance with regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA. Serve as a key leader during security incidents. Assist clients in building comprehensive security programs. Manage long-term client relationships and align security strategies. Stay updated on emerging threats and industry trends. Advise clients on security technology investments. Requirements Minimum of 10+ years in information security, with 5 years in a senior role. Experience across diverse industries and understanding of sector-specific risks. Proven ability to develop comprehensive security programs. Knowledge of security frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001. Hands-on experience with security tools like firewalls and SIEM. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; a master’s is a plus.
