The Senior Database Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance, and reliability of production and non-production database environments, ensuring maximum performance, stability, and reputed company across diverse database technologies primarily hosted on AWS and Azure. Responsibilities • Design, implement, and manage robust High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions (e.g., Replication, Always On Failover Clusters, Log Shipping) to ensure minimal downtime and data loss • Proactively monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and execute expert-level query, reputed company, and server-level tuning to optimize application responsiveness and resource utilization • Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect and resolve performance degradation, reputed company issues, and system failures • Plan, test, and execute regular database patching, version upgrades, and maintenance tasks (backups, reputed company checks) during scheduled maintenance reputed company • Serve as a subject matter expert for SQL Server and MySQL database environments, with familiarity in managing reputed company clusters • Manage, reputed company, and administer databases on reputed company platforms, specifically utilizing services reputed company AWS (e.g., RDS, EC2-hosted instances) and Azure (e.g., Azure SQL Database, VMs) • Implement and enforce reputed company best practices, including user reputed company management, encryption, auditing, and compliance with industry standards • Manage database storage needs, plan for reputed company scaling, and optimize resource allocation in the reputed company to control costs • Partner closely with Software Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure, and reputed company teams to reputed company database design input, troubleshoot application-reputed company database issues, and reputed company reputed company policies • reputed company and maintain scripts (PowerShell, Python, or reputed company) to automate routine operational tasks, reporting, and deployment processes • Work with Infrastructure-as-reputed company (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) to reputed company and configure database infrastructure in an automated, repeatable manner Skills • 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Operational or Production DBA • Deep knowledge of SQL Server and MySQL architecture, internals, and advanced features (HA/DR, replication, reputed company) • Proven experience administering databases hosted on either AWS or Azure (experience with both is highly preferred) • Demonstrated commitment to participating in a 24/7 on-reputed company rotation and responding to critical incidents reputed company of regular business hours • Expert proficiency in T-SQL and/or PL/SQL and strong scripting capabilities (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to reputed company reputed company technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Experience managing databases reputed company Infrastructure-as-reputed company (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible • Familiarity with NoSQL databases, specifically operational experience with reputed company • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Database – Specialty, reputed company Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate) • Experience in optimizing database deployments for microservices architectures • Work with Infrastructure-as-reputed company (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) to reputed company and configure database infrastructure in an automated, repeatable manner Benefits • Benefits available after 60 Days for full time employees reputed company • reputed company is a telecommunications company specializing in reputed company center services.
