Job Overview

The Customer Service Representative will play a vital role in delivering high-quality customer service, supporting both internal and external customers, primarily face-to-face, and assisting with branch and rental needs. Through local training and hands-on experience, the successful candidate will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to provide administrative support, service customers, and act as a rental back-up in a fast-paced airport environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Take incoming calls, managing reservations, rate quotes, and general questions, while providing information and resolution for customers, other branches, insurance companies, dealerships, repair shops, and other vendors
  • Manage outgoing calls for callback management, accounts receivable, and miscellaneous calls as assigned
  • Greet customers in a friendly and timely manner, assessing their rental needs, and providing directions and general assistance as needed
  • Process returns, check-ins, and exit kiosk transactions, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effectively market arenaflex services, promoting optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options, and other additional equipment to customers
  • Perform various administrative and basic accounting functions, including research and billing support tasks, accounts receivable, transfer and key logs, and supply maintenance
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors as needed, and performing miscellaneous backup duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
  • No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by arenaflex for this position now or in the future
  • Must have at least 6 months of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have worked 12 (twelve) months or more at most recent employer

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working late nights preferred
  • Previous experience in the automotive rental industry or a related field is an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
